“I’d rather live my life misunderstood, not how you think I should” - Stephanie Ryann.
Stephanie Ryann is a singer and songwriter whose music bridges the gap between country, folk and pop. Often compared to the likes of Miranda Lambert and Maren Morris, her “storytelling” writing style and unique sound sets her apart from other country artists on the scene. Ryann’s latest single, “I Should”, released on October 9th 2020 and features the most personal and honest lyrics Ryann has written and recorded to date. The lyrics showcase society’s version of “success”, that of which Ryann has no intention of following. “This is the first single I’ve recorded that really feels like me”, says Ryann. “I feel like I finally found ‘my voice’ as a singer-songwriter and I’m excited to share this next chapter in my career.”
For Stephanie Ryann, “I Should” is just the beginning.
